On April 8, H.E. Mr. Shen Bo, Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands, met with Mr. Hugo de Jonge, King’s Commissioner in Zeeland, and visited the Delta Works.

Ambassador Shen briefed Commissioner de Jonge on the guiding principles of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, highly commended the long-standing friendly exchanges between Zeeland Province and China, and expressed his hope that the two sides would further deepen cooperation in areas such as the green economy and water management, so as to achieve mutual benefit, win-win outcomes, and common development.

Commissioner de Jonge extended his warm welcome to Ambassador Shen and noted that Zeeland Province attaches great importance to the Chinese market and stands ready to continue enhancing exchanges and cooperation across various fields between the two sides.

Ambassador Shen and Commissioner de Jonge also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
